Magnetic Impact is a small company dedicated to the production of high quality media projects for small business use. We have been in business since 1998, developing web sites and other business communications media as well as providing web hosting and e-mail services. Part-Time Web Developer
We are looking for a cheerful, easy-going, responsible individual to be part of our web development team.
Required Skills
Technical:
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS.
- Good sense of aesthetics and graphic design for Web.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Proficiency in Flash (including ActionScript) is a plus.
- Proficiency with WordPress is a plus.
- Excellent creative problem solving skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and successfully implement them.
- Ability to learn new technologies and new ways of doing things.
- Ability to push projects through to completion efficiently and with high quality.
Organizational:
- Good communication skills and people skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities.
- Cheerful, professional attitude and ability to work with others.
- Attention to detail.
Job Details
Part-time (average of 12 hours per week) initially, potentially leading to full-time position if you demonstrate competency and high level of responsibility and dedication.
Starting pay is $10.00-$15.00/hr (based on ability and experience).
